3.(i) Noah says ‘ the circumference of a circle with radius 10 cm is double the circumference of a
circle with radius 5 cm’.Is he right ? Explain your answer.

He is right because C=2pir(formula of a circle) and if we apply it then we will get the answer.

(ii) Write down the facts and properties of a circle as much as you can.

The radius is the distance from the center of the circumference. The diameter is the line that pass
through the center of the circumference. The arc is the also a part of the circumference and it can be
anywhere. The pi has lots of numbers and we always take it as 3.142 but sometimes it can be wrong if
we don’t use the scientific calculator. So using the pi key from calculator is the best idea.
4. Think of a rectangular prism with the length and width of the base rectangle is 25 cm and 29 cm
respectively. The height of the prism is 8m.Find the volume of the prism.

Answer-58000cm3

5.Tells us about the Pythagoras’ thoerem in your own style.

In a right-angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse side is equal to the sum of squares of the other
two sides. The hypotenuse is the opposite side of the right angle triangle. The main thing that we have
to remember is the theorem only works for the right-angle triangle. The formula of the theorem is the
a2+b2=c2
