Invendis Invent, Discover. iSense Green installation Manual Installation steps: 1. Follow the above wiring diagram. Route all cables to the meter and do the cable preparation work. Use Flexible conduit / casing capping where ever necessary. Follow all the safety precautions before carrying out any work, Use suitable lugs to dress the ends of each cable. Insert CT's in right direction of the flow of current. Once all the cable termination is over cross check each point before switching ON the circuit. After successful switching ON the meter, check all the readings on the display of meter and compare with multi meter readings. Voltage: + Ve and ~Ve terminals. Current: Loads where CT's are installed. 8. After the iSense is commissioned, check if the meter data is appearing in Sense data also or check for the meter readings with NOC personnel. Noes Troubleshooting Steps 1. Meter not powering ON: a. Check the voltage between +Ve and ~Ve port of the DCEM using multi meter. The voltage should come as 53V. If not appearing as 230V in multi meter, check and rectify the cable connections from the mains breaker to meter from where the voltage connection is taken from, b. fin above check all the readings in the multi meter is showing the standard readings, then replace the meter. Take safety precautions before changing the meter. 2. DCEM Display a. IFDCEM display is not proper, please press the LCD initialization key (DCEM center key) for few seconds, display screen will restore to normal. 3. Meter reading wrong Ampere Value: a. Check the direction of the CT. The arrow mark on the CT should point the flow of current in the circuit. If the CT is installed in the reverse direction, then re-install the CT in proper direction. b. Check the connection of CT to meter. The output cable of the CT should be terminated on respective channel inputs e.g. Chi, Ch2, Ch3 and Ch4. If it is wrongly connected, correct the connection as mentioned above. . Check the configuration of CT ratio by entering the programming mode of the meter. Take assistance of Invendis team to troubleshoot further. 46 Invendis Invent, Discover. iSense Green installation Manual 4, DCEM Slave ID settings a Press EDIT till "ENTER PASSWORD” displays on screen. Press EDIT post changing the ID. 5. DCCT Calibration: Long Press EDIT button of meter, and enter password 0030 b. Note down the MF values displayed in the meter viz. MFO, MF1, MF2, MF3. and MF4 c. Then come out of MF configuration by pressing the EDT button after MFA. d. Now note down the readings of each channel ampere values as shown by the DCEM. e. Also note down the ampere values and voltage values as measured by the multi- meter. f, Follow the below procedure/calculation to get new MF Values which will calibrate the meter to read the proper values. g. New MF Value = (Old MF Value / Present Display Value)* Desired (Multimeter) value. Meter Not Communicating to iSense: 47 a Check the termination of RS-485 (Communication) cable on DC Energy Meter. The Blue Colour cable should be terminated on RS485 + port of DC Energy meter and the White Colour cable should be terminated on RS485 — port of DC Energy meter. On iSense side, the same Blue colour cable to be terminated on P1 and White cable on N1 — port with shield of the cable connected to G1 port.
