Year 9 Geography Urban Fieldwork – Changing Places

Student instructions

• Please arrive at Barangaroo House (near Barangaroo Ferry Terminal 1 – accessed via Wynyard
Walk) at 9:30am for roll call.
• You are to bring:
- a pen
- clipboard/something to write on
- water bottle
- recess and lunch (there will be no stops to buy food)
- your teachers will bring your fieldwork booklets
• You may wear appropriate casual clothing with shoes suitable for walking. A hat is also
recommended.
• You will be dismissed at 2:30pm at Wynyard Station.
• If you are absent on the day please inform the school via normal absence processes.
• Normal school rules and behaviour expectations apply on the day, including device use.
• This fieldwork is supporting your knowledge of the topic ‘Changing Places’. The work completed
during the day is examinable.
