Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) has a sandwich-like structure consisting of working electrodes
(FTO overgrown with thin-film nanorod ZnO), dye, electrolytes and opposing electrodes (FTO
coated with platisol catalyse). The thin layer of ZnO Nanorod doping Sodium has been
interpreted using the self-assembly method. The process of growing thin film ZnO with /without
doping Na (ZnO:Na 0,01M seed layer, ZnO:Na 0,015M seed layer, and ZNO:Na 0,02M seed
layer) is positioned on top of the preparing glass using spin coatng technique. Then, ZnO
nanorod is seasoned over FTO/ZnO:Na seed layer using the self assembly method by soaking
FTO/ZnO:Na in a precursor solution at 100 ⁰C for 150 minutes using the oven. To study and
know the effect of dopan / no doping on the growth of ZnO nanorod structure is characterized,
the morphology of the ZnO: Na Nanorod layer is observed using scanning electron microscope
(SEM) and it is known that the growth orientation of ZnO is upright. ZnO structures analyzed
based on the sianr-X (XRD) diffraction spectrum showed the top of the ZnO nano rod was
identified at a position of 2Θ (34⁰) with a crystal size of about 101-203 nm. Based on lcr meter
measurement results, the resistivity value of ZnO nano rods increased along with the increase in
dopan Na from 0.5868 Ωcm, 17.51 Ωcm, 17.62 Ωcm, and 24.11 Ωcm.
