TAYLOR SERIES

Ana Sofia Orjuela

Is a representation of a function as an infinite sum of terms
computed from the values of its derivatives at a single point.
(Knaust, 2018). And the formula is

FUNCTION PROPOSED

WHEN N=0

The original function

WHEN N=1

Each time N gets smaller, it moves further away from the original
function. And when N=1 can be seen a tangent line showing the
rate of change

WHEN N=2

It can be seen that when N is an even number, the Taylor Series is

a parable and can be seen this is the tangent parable
WHEN N=3

It can be seen that on odd numbers the graph becomes symmetric

about the origin.

WHEN N=4

It can be seen the parable due to that 4 is an even number and

everytime it´s getting closer and that because everytime we add a
term to the serie it would tend to be zero, demonstrating the
derivative concept
WHEN N=5

It can be seen that as N gets bigger, it gets closer and closer to the
original graph/function due to the fact that it will tend to 0
