1. Analyzing summary statements:
a) First, read the statements, if any of them does not match the information in the reading -> eliminate
b) Look at other statements, decide which one best expresses the main idea -
i. short but complete
ii. Should not state a secondary idea/summarize small details
c) Subheads in the selection help reminding the important ideas that should be included in a summary statement.
