Recommendation: Use 0.1 % - 0.15 % of cobalt metal content in the final
compound. If the cobalt metal concentration is too high it will cause accelerated aging and deterioration of the compound. Compound must be cured below or at a maximum of 150 ºC. Test physical properties and vary amount of cobalt till physical properties comply with standard. The cord pullout test (ASTM D 2229) can be used for adhesion testing. The addition point of the cobalt is important for the compound viscosity. Addition point will not influence the adhesion properties.
Storage: Keep the product in a cool dry place and keep product away from the atmosphere.
