Explanatory Note: Photography terms and conditions (“the Document”)

 The   Document   is   intended   to   be   used   as   an   annexure   to   a   Booking   Form   which   contains   the  
following  information  or  fields  at  a  minimum:  

• Photographer’s  name,  address  and  contact  details;  

• Client’s  name,  address  and  contact  details;  

• A   detailed   description   of   the   Photographer’s   services   (this   description   should   include   any  
deliverables  such  as  digital  media,  prints,  albums  and  so  on);  

• Details   of   the   Photographer’s   fees   for   rendering   the   services   together   with   payment   terms  
and  any  deposits  required;  

• Any  other  pertinent  information.  

The   Booking   Form   must   contain   the   substance   of   the   Photographer’s   agreement   with   the   Client.    
The  Document  sets  out  the  legal  framework  for  the  Photographer’s  relationship  with  the  Client  but  
the  details  must  be  set  out  in  the  Booking  Form.  

However   you   formulate   your   Booking   Form,   we   recommend   you   use   the   defined   terms   contained   in  
the  Document  to  ensure  consistency  between  the  Booking  Form  and  the  Document.    Bear  in  mind  
that   these   two   documents   are   intended   to   be   read   together   as   the   contract   between   the  
Photographer  and  the  Client.
