Procedui
) Make the connections as per the circuit diagram
2) Keep the range switch T in X1 and switch 2 in X 001 postion and eial3 in X
0.0001 postion
3) By varying the resistance R, adjust the current in th bridge circuit
4) Obtain he balance point onthe galvanometer by proportionally adjusting the
Range switch 1 and switch 2 and dial3 note down the readings
'5) Repeat step 3 and 4 for minimum three times.
6) Calculate the resistance of given ammeter shun resistor.
Precautions:
1) In order to protect the galvanometer a high resistance is connected in series with it
initially and then resistance is graduslly decreased es the balance pointy
approached. °Observations & Calculations:
