Objective:
1. To investigate the effect of the onset of COVID19 to Electrical Utilities’ (EC) Capital
Expenditure (CAPEX)Application in terms of Revenue, covering the period of January 1
2020 to December 31 2021.
2. To identify the most common steps taken by EC to address the negative impacts of the
onset of the COVID19.

Abstract
This study aims to investigate the effect of the New Normal situation to Electrical Utilities in
processing their Capital Expenditure Application, and how it resulted in terms of their Revenue
and how they function as a business. This covers the period from January 1, 2020 to December
31 2020. The study starts with the identification of ECs that will fall to the qualified respondents.
This is due to the fact the CAPEX applications of EC differ from each other. The period covered
by this study is will not qualify all the ECs. Questionnaires will target the Financial Managers
and Business Operation Manager or the corresponding person in charge. The result will then be
analyze to identify useful information to meet the objective of this study.
