Glimpses of past and future activities


of ‘The Ravi Paranjape Foundation.’
First of all best wishes for 2021 to all of you. ‘The Ravi Paranjape’ Foundation is
presenting sixth issue of quarterly magazine of year 2021 featured on Artist Shri
SM Pandit. Kindly enjoy the sixth quarterly magazine issue of our ‘old masters
series’.
I would like to share that the painting competition which was organized by
‘The Ravi Paranjape Foundation’ in October 2020 received a great response. The
final results of the competition are available on our website.
Many of the finest paintings during Corona period were made by amateur and
professional painters. Considering their enthusiasm a small effort was made by the
Foundation by initiating painting competition cum exhibition for all artists and
of course it received a good response. Foundation has hence decided to conduct at
least two such exhibitions every year.
Currently, the paintings of the winners of the October 2020 competition will be
displayed in the art gallery from March 14 to March 21, 2021. On 14th March
2021, a film on the artist ‘Shri Ravi Paranjape’ will be shown to the competition
winners and the audience. After that ‘Artist Shri Ravi Paranjape’ will unveil this
painting exhibition of the winners and these paintings will be displayed in the Art
Gallery for the whole week.The art lovers kindly visit our art gallery and enjoy this
exhibition on landscape paintings made by artists in 3 mediums water colours,
pastels(crayons) and pencil and charcoal.
The paintings in this exhibition will also be available for sale. The closing
ceremony of the exhibition will be held with dialogue session with winners and
prize ceremony on March 21, 2021 at 4pm onwards.
This year, the Foundation will host ‘Art Cafe’ on the last Sunday of every month
with renowned artists, and ‘Chitradiksha’, a special educational year long paid
program for art lovers, will be held at the Art Studio.
Detailed information of these activities will be given from time to time.
So request be sure to enjoy the quarterly magazine and kindly take time between
March 14 and March 21, 2021 to visit the exhibition at ‘The Ravi Paranjape art
gallery’
