Abstract
A Registered Nurse is a medical professional that provides and coordinates patient care, educates
patients and the public about various health conditions, and provides advice and emotional
support to patients and their families. Some of the common tasks of a registered nurse are
changing bandages, drawing blood and prescribing treatments and medications. In order to
become a registered nurse, one must have a high school diploma, graduate from a nursing
program, and pass the NCLEX Exam, which is designed to test your knowledge in key areas of
the field of nursing. This process takes approximately 16 months to 4 years. The average salary
