According to Rayan's mother's statement on the Al- Aoula television station, her son fell into a well on Tuesday (1/2) afternoon. The story of Rayyan which became a tragedy began when little Rayyan was allowed to go play near his house. That afternoon, Rayan's family allowed the child to play on Tuesday afternoon. While playing, little Rayan accidentally fell into a well that was narrow and difficult to reach. "In an instant, the boy fell into a well that I was repairing. I couldn't sleep at night," his father, Khaled Awram told the media. The family who knew that the boy had fallen into the well immediately tried to send help."To ensure the safety of everyone... the ministry filled and fortified 2,450 unused wells," the Saudi ministry said in a statement. The ministry continues to work to fill the remaining wells that are still open," the statement added. In its statement, the Saudi Ministry also called on residents to report the presence of unsafe or uncovered wells. "Your report will protect you and others," the Saudi ministry said in a statement.
