 DAY 1: INTRODUCTION TO ART & DESIGN ASTHETICS

 Beauty is something that cannot be covered in a definition. What is beautiful for

someone could be ugly or not so beautiful for others. Something that 'wow's you is
beautiful for you. There are ways in which aesthetics can be experienced. It can be
expressed through fascination, emotion and perception.

 What you perceive after you see or listen to something is a total reflection of who you
are. One will only see what I want to see e in any art form I will always receive what the
very depth of one’s identity tells him to receive.

 The type of clothes and their color is highly dependent or related to the geographical
conditions of that place these geographical conditions can be the weather the season
the temperature.

 White color is considered the formal color in Men’s wear men with high repetition in
tribes a villages prominently white color and it gave the sense of superiority to their
appeal they usually had some accessories with vibrant colors to sum of their look and to
have taste of colors other than white.

 Some particular features can be considered superior to other features but this does not
imply the superiority of a being with superior features ( features here are purely
physical aesthetics)

WORD OF THE DAY: MIMESIS

Originated from Greek word mimeisthai (to imitate), this word carries wide range of
meanings which include mimicry, representation, the act of resembling, and the presentation of
the self.

How real does the imitation(or copy) of something or someone looks, how lifelike it is; is a
better mimesis of that thing or person.

Only checked or classified by the physical-visual object that you can see not the inner feeling of
artist or anything else.
