I- INTRODUCTION
The text submitted for our study is a narrative text
taken from Make an Instrument of your Peace
written by Kent Nerburn in 1999. The text speaks
of the unforgettable journey of a taxi driver.

II- SUMMARY
In this text the author wants to affirm the upheaval
of the taxi driver after having listened to the story
of one of his customers.
III- MOVEMENT
In this text we have 4 parts:
- From line 1 to 10: this is the story of the taxi
driver
- From line 11 to 30: it is about the meeting of the
taxi driver and his client
- From line 31 to 71: he talks about the reliving of
the client's life in the company of the taxi driver
- From line 72 until the end: it is about questioning
the life of the taxi driver
IV- INTEREST
We have a social interest because the text is about
the cab ride I’ll never forget.

For our part, this text reflects several emotions and
