Rising Action

Montressor finds Fortunato in the street and tells him about the bottle of Amontillado wine he has in
his vault. Fortunato, surprised he had this wine, he claims to accompany him to taste it. Walking
down to the vault where the Amontillado wine was, Montressor give Fortunato more wine to keep
him drunk. Walking through the vault to get the Amontillado wine, they get to the point where it is
located.

Falling Action

When Fortunato realizes he is being locked up inside the vault he starts to laugh and to tell to
Montressor that it is a good joke, and suggest him to go back to the surface.
