Explain the Consumer and Product and Safety

(Article 5-6)
Consumer Act of the Phillippines- it will protect the interest of all customers at may walonng 8 basic
needs ang consumer pero bibigay ko lima lang

1. Right to safety - ibig sabihin niyan kailangan natin alamin ung mga produkto na ating bibilhin is for
safetyness ba ito. Example na situation ikaw si consumer bumili ka ng isang produkto so may right
kana titignan ung produkto na kung expire ba ito para makaiwas ka sa cause of dseas.

2. Right to Basic needs- may rights ka as a consumer na makuha mo ung mga pangngailangan mo

3. Right to information- may rights ka na alamin mo lahat ng bagay sa paligid mo or patungkol sa

impormation na binili mong products or any thing else.

4. Right to Representationibig sabihin naman nito kapag ang government natin naglabas ng policy
about the consumer. As a consumer you neeed to develop yourself to be aware of certain policy that
will released in the government

Mga Implementing Agencies

Department of trade Industry- responsibilidad nila icheck ang kalagayan ng isang market o
pamimlihan

Department of Health: sila ung mga tagapangasiwa ng pagkain, gamot or medical activities that will
need of our consumers.

Department of Agriculture- sila ung mga nangangasiwa sa sa agrikultura like, halaman hayop at iba
pang sector ng isang agrikultura at tungkulin din nila maipatupad ang mga pamantayan upang mawala
ang mga posibleng pinsala sa mga hayop o halaman at iba pa .

Requirements of Department of Agriculture :

Performamnce, komposisyon, nilalaman, disensyo, pagkakayari
