1. Find two positive real numbers whose sum is 70 and their product is
maximum.

2. The product of two positive numbers is 2304. Find the numbers so that
their sum is a maximum.

3. We have piece of cardboard that is 14in by 10in and we are going to

cut out the corners as shown below and fold up the sides to form a
box, also shown below. Determine the height of the box that will give
a maximum volume?
