A coconut tree provides us with coconuts, but can the other

parts be used as well? Certainly, they can.

The tree trunk can be made into a bridge. We can cross a river

easily using a bridge. Coconut leaves have always been used in making

ketupat casing for generations. The broom that we use to sweep

everyday is actually made of the hard leaf veins.

The edible part of the coconut tree is the fruit. We can drink

the juice and eat the white pulp. Coconut juice is also known to cure

some diseases.

The hard shell of the coconut fruit is inedible but it can be

turned into many useful objects suck as a money-box, ladle and

ornaments. Some of the soap and candles we see around us can come

from the oil from coconut milk.
