it gives us great pleasure, as President and Chair of the Scientific Peter A. Frensch
Committee of the 29th International Congress of Psychology (ICP2008),
respectively, to invite you to convene and chair an Invited Symposium
Vice-President
at the Congress. ICP2008 will take place in Berlin, Germany, July 20-25,
2008. It will be hosted by the German Federation of Psychological Carola Brücher-Albers
Associations, under the auspices of the International Union of
Psychological Science (IUPsyS). IUPsyS is a member of the International Ex Officio

Because a strong scientific program is the major purpose of the
Congress, the Scientific Committee of ICP2008, along with the IUPsyS
national member societies, has nominated world renowned scientists, Organizing Committee
representing different fields of psychology and related disciplines from Chairperson
different parts of the world, as convenors of Invited Symposia. The

plans for ICP2008 call for a comprehensive scientific program including
200 Invited Symposia with convenors from over 60 countries. We also
plan to have 80 Invited Addresses, a number of thematic oral sessions, Scientific Committee
several Controversial Debates, and many interactive poster sessions. Chairperson
