Why does she inspire me?

● Kiran Bedi's courage and achievements are a great inspiration to the

young generation of India.
● Her inspirational speeches have been inspiring women to raise their
voices against injustice and work hard for a better and good life.
● She is an icon for women who are or want to be in the police force.
● When she was asked about her career and how she moved up the ladder among
the male dominated IPS cadre, she said the answer was “focus.” Focus on
what you want and on doing what you have to do — the rest, like
promotion, will come. When you are true to what you’re doing, and are
focusing on getting what needs to get done, done, recognition is bound to
follow.
