As a professional manager what would be your role in introducing organizations

development activities?
Being a professional manager It’s my responsibility to acquire new learnings for employees and
encourage them to register for online or distance learning courses to acquaint themselves with
new knowledge. As a manager, I need to give the extra push to my employees to participate in
employee development activities.

Respect other’s ideas. Let people come out with new ideas. Information sharing helps in
development of employees. Encourage discussions on an open meeting where employees can
share their views on various topics and gain from each other’s knowledge. A manager can
moderate such discussions. Ensure employees do participate in the discussions rather than
sitting blank. Job rotation may also help an employee to develop and enhance his skills.

What types of leadership style will be most suitable for this organization and
why?
According to me affiliative style is fit for this organization because as we see many of the
employees are over fifty years of age. this style is all about encouraging harmony and forming
collaborative relationships within employees . It's particularly useful, for example, in smoothing
conflicts among team members or reassuring people during times of stress.
