1. Carl Rogers identified the three sufficient and necessary conditions for therapeutic growth to take
place. These are Congruence, Unconditional positive regard, and Empathic listening. Among the three,
Rogers believed that CONGRUENCE is more basic than the other two. Still, if given the chance, rank
the three conditions on the basis of how you see their importance. 1 being the most important based on
your own opinion. Justify your answers and ranking.

1. Allport believed that most people have 5 to 10 central dispositions that their friends and
acquaintances would agree are descriptive of that person. Conduct an interview/dialogue with people
who are close to you. Ask them how they could describe you as a person. From the interview, identify
your central traits. Share your personal insights on the consolidated traits that you have received.
