 Ruins of the Fort of Tukuran= Site of the village of Sultan Untung turned into a Spanish fort.

 The ruins of Spanish fort are the beautiful historical landmark of Tukuran which was created
during the Spanish colonization in the country way back century ago. These old fort is located at
barangay Militar which overlook the plain in the southwest where the poblacion of Tukuran is located
and the clear blue water of Illana Bay in the south. There are four forts in the area which were scattered
in different strategic places.

2. The Royal House= Where Rizal lived while

he was in exile. Official residence of the
politico-military general. In 1637, Sebastian
Hurtado de Corcuera decided to send an
expedition to subdue the Datus and the
people of Lake Lanao. As early as
September 1637, he had promised the
lake area to the Jesuits, who would get
the same the moment it was conquered.
