The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some

tourist facilities.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and

make comparisons where relevant.

 There wasn’t anything in the area before

 There are full of constructors in the area after

In conclusion: the economy of this island is much better than before.

 Main Work

Given are “ before and after of an island “ maps demonstrating, the change of an area through time is
described in detail.

Firstly, there wasn’t anything in the area before. In the past, this area only had some trees and an empty
sea. Although this land had a beach, it can’t be used for swimming, the reason might be having a lot of
sharks. Because of the poor facility, no one lived there.

Secondly, through time this land is filled by full of constructors. It seems to be discovered by humans
and this land is developed in the right way by them. There are many accommodations around the island,
where tourists can come and rest. Besides, restaurants and reception are built to serve tourists. Tourism
on this island grows quickly and created jobs in hotels and restaurants. In addition, the beach is available
to swim in and the sea now has a pier with many boats.

In conclusion, the economy of this island is much better than before. A lot of people and a lot of vehicles
appeared that making the atmosphere excited.
