M/s GE T&D Engineer reported at 3*15 MW PSPCL POWER HOUSE unit-3 on 26/02/2022
and accomplished the following works.
In Unit-1 GRP ,T60(87GT-2) Relays Overflux protection has been tested and
witnessed by M/s PSPCL Customer.
P345(87GRP-2) Relays Backup impedance ,95% stator earth fault ,100 % stator
earth fault (3rd Harmonics method) protection has been configured , tested and
witnessed by M/s PSPCL customer .
G60(87GPR-1) Relays ,100 % stator earth fault (3rd Harmonics Method) Protection
has been tested and witnessed by M/s PSPCL customer. Disturbance recorder and
Events has been verified and witnessed by M/s PSPCL customer.
All above mentioned works has been completed Unit-1 generator has been
synchronized with Grid on 01-03-2022.
UNIT-2 Powerhouse:
In Unit-2 GRP, T60 (87GT-2) Relays Over flux protection has been tested and
witnessed by M/s PSPCL Customer.
P345(87GRP-2) Relays Backup impedance ,95% stator earth fault ,100 % stator
earth fault (3rd Harmonics method) protection has been tested and witnessed by M/s
PSPCL customer .
G60 (87GPR-1) Relays , 100 % stator earth fault (3rd Harmonics Method)
Protection has been configured ,tested and witnessed by M/s PSPCL customer.
Disturbance recorder and Events has been verified and witnessed by M/s PSPCL
customer.
All above mentioned works has been completed and Unit-2 generator has been
synchronized with Grid on 02-03-2022.

witnessed by M/s PSPCL Customer.

PSPCL customer .

Protection has been configured ,tested and witnessed by M/s PSPCL customer.
Disturbance recorder and Events has been verified and witnessed by M/s PSPCL
customer.
All above mentioned works has been completed and Unit-3 generator has been
synchronized with Grid on 03-03-2022.
NOTE:
M/s GE T&D has completed all the pending points intimated by the M/S PSPCL as
per the requirements and all Open Points has been cleared by M/s GE Engineer.
As per MOM dated 03.05.2021 between M/S GE and PSPCL, GE has suggested in
General Observations that 3 phase VTs to be replaced with 3 Single phase VTs
for getting sub harmonics current angle 90 deg for enabling low frequency
injection method of stator earth fault relay in GPR. It is requested M/S GE to
confirm that after replacing the three phase VTs with 3 single phase VTs the low
frequency injection method of stator earth fault shall be enabled by them in GPR.
M/s PSPCL requested M/s GE T&D to submit invoice documents for Erection,
Testing & Commissioning and balance supply payment if any as per terms and
conditions of the contract since M/s GE T&D completed the commissioning of
UBDC Stage-1 power house-1,2,3 successfully.
After completing the above-mentioned jobs M/s GE Representative left the site on dated
03.03.2022

tripped in reverse power .This is issue has
been resolved and verified by M/s PSPCL
customer.
