OBJECTIVE Computation of Multiphase Flows

The objective of this course is to

present to the student the different Multiphase flows are encountered in numerous industrial applications. The
numerical methods used to compute predominant way to understand and optimize multiphase flows has been
multiphase flows of different categories. through experiments and correlations. Numerical methods have been
promoted as possible ways to minimize experimentation. However,
computations of multiphase flows are extremely complex. Multiphase flows
PRE-REQUISITE can be classified in several categories: Gas-Particle Flows, Gas-Liquid
First Level course in Computational Flows, with and without phase change, Liquid-Liquid Flows, and Liquid-
Fluid Dynamics, and proficiency in Particle Flows. The Computational tools vary by category. This course
computer programming (any
