Effectiveness of In-Service Programs for Senior Nurses: Inputs to Health Education for
National Development in the Philippines
- A quasi-experimental research design is ideal for this topic. Quasi-experimental is used
to establish a cause-and-effect of the two variables involved without manipulating the
independent variable. This topic is to get knowledge on how in-service programs for
senior nurses will be an effective input to health education for national development.
Also, notice that the desired respondents are not randomly selected but are the ones
receiving an in-service program for training and development. An observation kit would
be an ideal instrument to use for this.
2. Job Stressors and Job Performance Among Hospital Staff: Basis for a Proposed
General Wellness Program for Improved Service Delivery
- A correlational research design is what fits this study the most. The topic is to observe
how job stressors and job performance of hospital staff correlate to each other to know
that if there is a change in job stressors, could it also cause a change in job
performance? That being said, it is ideal to understand how these two variables relate to
each other to impose a general wellness program for the improvement of service
delivery of hospital staff. A self-made survey questionnaire would be an ideal instrument
to use for this.
4. Telemedicine in Local Health Care Setting: Basis for Effective Alternative Approach in
Diagnosis and Management of Patients
- A quasi-experimental research design is ideal for this topic. The topic has an objective to
know how telemedicine would cause an intervention for an effective alternative approach
in the diagnosis and management of patients. Researchers could only determine the
effectiveness of telemedicine as an alternative approach in the diagnosis and
management of patients if the research design is quasi-experimental. An observation kit
would be an ideal instrument to use for this.
