Effectiveness of In-Service Programs for Senior Nurses: Inputs to Health Education for
National Development in the Philippines
- A quasi-experimental research design is ideal for this topic. Quasi-experimental is used
to establish a cause-and-effect of the two variables involved without manipulating the
independent variable. This topic is to get knowledge on how in-service programs for
senior nurses will be an effective input to health education for national development.
Also, notice that the desired respondents are not randomly selected but are the ones
receiving an in-service program for training and development. An observation kit would
be an ideal instrument to use for this.

2. Job Stressors and Job Performance Among Hospital Staff: Basis for a Proposed
General Wellness Program for Improved Service Delivery
- A correlational research design is what fits this study the most. The topic is to observe
how job stressors and job performance of hospital staff correlate to each other to know
that if there is a change in job stressors, could it also cause a change in job
performance? That being said, it is ideal to understand how these two variables relate to
each other to impose a general wellness program for the improvement of service
delivery of hospital staff. A self-made survey questionnaire would be an ideal instrument
to use for this.

3. Factors Affecting Increased Emergency Surgical Morbidities and Complications During

Covid-19 Pandemic
- A descriptive research design is ideal for this study because this study seeks to describe
the current status regarding what factors do affect increasing emergency surgical
morbidities and complications during a covid-19 pandemic. A self-made survey
questionnaire would be an ideal instrument to use for this.

4. Telemedicine in Local Health Care Setting: Basis for Effective Alternative Approach in
Diagnosis and Management of Patients
- A quasi-experimental research design is ideal for this topic. The topic has an objective to
know how telemedicine would cause an intervention for an effective alternative approach
in the diagnosis and management of patients. Researchers could only determine the
effectiveness of telemedicine as an alternative approach in the diagnosis and
management of patients if the research design is quasi-experimental. An observation kit
would be an ideal instrument to use for this.

5. Challenges in the Retention of Hospital Personnel During Pandemic: Basis for

Proposed Contingency Strategies on Hospital Administration
- A descriptive research design would fit most for this study. Descriptive research seeks to
describe the current status of an identified individual. This topic will most likely analyze
the challenges in the retention of hospital personnel during a pandemic. The researchers
did not assume the hypothesis but are likely to develop one after collecting data, making
it more suitable for descriptive research design. A self-made survey questionnaire is
ideal for this topic.
6. Decline in Patient Census Due to Covid-19: Basis for a Proposed Private Community-
Based Health Facility
- A descriptive research design is ideal for this study. The objective of this study is to seek
a computation of how many patient censuses have been declined to accommodate due
to covid-19. The researchers had not made a hypothesis yet, since we could only have
one once the data collection was done. By that, the researchers can now proceed to
analyze if it will be worth it to propose a private community-based health facility. And that
procedure can be done if you use a descriptive research design. A self-made survey
questionnaire is ideal for this topic.

7. Socio-Economic Determinants of Cervical Cancer Screening in Selected Hospitals in

CALABARZON as Basis for a Proposed Community-Based Women’s Wellness Program
- A descriptive research design is what fits most for this study. This study aims to
determine the current status of socio-economic determinants of cervical cancer
screening as the basis for a proposed community-based women’s wellness program. A
self-made survey questionnaire is ideal for this topic.

8. The Therapeutic Effects of Touch Among the Elderly

- A case study would be the ideal research design for this topic. The purpose of a case
study is to generate an in-depth understanding of a complex issue in its real-life context.
I believe that this topic has a goal to know the therapeutic effects of touch among the
elderly and to be able to know its therapeutic effect, it is better if you execute an in-depth
understanding of the issue mentioned. Thus, it is ideal to choose an in-depth interview
with the target respondents as the research instrument.
