Why is it important to conduct an induction program for newly hired personnel?

There is a need for induction for a newly hired personnel because it can ensure that the newly
hired personnel are initiated in the expectation, performance and culture of an organization or
company and also to welcome them wholeheartedly. Induction can also help for a newly hired
personnel to prepare them to their new role in an organization. It also helps them understand
the system, cultures, and procedures followed by the organization.
