Dear Mrs.Love,

I am applying for a position as a Youth Program Assistant. I am a high school graduate

with a high school diploma with a 3.81 GPA. Currently, I am seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in
Nutrition. My ultimate goal is to make a di erence with postpartum mothers and meal services.
I believe I will be the best candidate because I have attended Navy CYP programs since 2009
in the CDC, and SAC and teen program.

Currently, I am working as a mom help aid. I have helped moms who are unable to walk
their kids to their after school programs due to their busy work schedule. I work with
preschoolers and can appreciate di erent cultural backgrounds. I have also been a camp
counselor for 4-H Leadership Camp for 3 years, helped with certain tasks and planning many
community service and 4-H events at several military youth centers. I am able to work split
shifts and travel to di erent centers. My resume is enclosed for your review and I look forward
to examining any of the ways you feel my background and skills would bene t CYP Youth
Programs.
