182(2) (EXPLANATION ON IMPOSITION OF PENALTY U/S 182 FOR FAILURE TO FURNISH RETURN

Respected Sir/Madam
With reference to notice regarding non submission of Income Tax returns for the year 2020. I want to
state my position that I could not furnish my tax returns in due to time due to sudden death of my
Father who unfortunately died on 24-11-2020.
That unfortunate situation was very hard for entire of our family resultantly I could not complete this
very important task. I hope you will consider my situation and kind favor will be granted from your side.
Being a very responsible citizen of Pakistan I am paying all my taxes regularly. Furthermore i do hereby
assure that in future I will submit my tax returns in due time and this negligent instance will not be
repeated in future.
