PREFACE
First of all, we thank you for choosing EDDA MACHINE EASYWRAP STRETCH
WRAPPING MACHINE.

Do not use the machine without being thoroughly read and understood. Doing so may cause
serious injury and damage.

WARRANTY

The machine has 1 (one) year warranty from the date of


purchase. During the warranty period, any problems that
may arise due to manufacturing parts and manufacturing
faults of the machine will be eliminated as soon as possible.
This error is void if an error occurs due to operator
malfunctions and abnormal use of the machine.

EDDA MAKİNA can change the information and pictures in the user manual without prior notice.

SAFETY RULES
FOLLOW ALL SAFETY RULES IN THE GUIDE!

IDENTIFY OF THE SAFETY RULES


 The safety symbols in the guide are used to identify potential hazards.
 When any safety symbol is seen in this guide, it must be understood that there is a risk
of injury and the following explanations should be read carefully to prevent possible
hazards.
 During the wrapping process, keep away from operators, especially children.

BEING SURE THAT UNDERSTAND OF SAFETY RULES

 Read the operating instructions carefully, label and safety warnings on the machine.
 Make sure that the warning labels on the machine are in good condition. Replace
missing and damaged labels.
 Learn how the machine is operated and how its controls are done correctly.
 Use your machine in proper working condition.
 Improper changes to your machine lead to adversely affect the safe operation and
service life of your machine.

ELECTRIC SHOCK MAY LEAD TO DEATHS

 Ensure that installation procedures comply with


national electrical standards and other relevant
regulations, and ensure that the machine is installed
by authorized personnel.
 Remove all power connections and / or connection
plugs or turn off the machine before repairing the
machine.
 Be careful when using long mains cable.
 Check all cables frequently for possible damage. If a
damaged or uninsulated cable is detected, repair or
replace it immediately.
 Make sure that the correct grounding of the electric line.

MOVING PARTS CAN CAUSE INJURY

 Before operating the machine, make sure


that protective covers, safety buttons and
all other safety equipment are in place and
switch on.

 The person operating the machine must


take all personal safety precautions. Do not
operate the machine with wrist watches,
jewelry and plenty of clothes.

 This machine has automatic start / stop


mechanism automatically. Never move any
of your limbs to the moving parts of the
machine, even if it stops.

 Machine cut section has SHARP BLADE. Be


careful when changing the blade and
machine power must be turned off.

 Do not insert any objects between the


photocell and the reflector during
operation. This may cause the machine to
malfunction and cause an accident.

 Wear safety shoes against the possibility of


heavy objects falling.

MAINTENANCE BY MACHINE AND EQUIPMENT BY UNAUTHORIZED
PERSON MAY CAUSE INJURIES

 This machine should only be operated by persons who have been trained in use
and who are familiar with all safety precautions.

 All maintenance and defective parts of this machine can only be performed /
repaired by a qualified service person. Cut off the machine's energy before any
intervention and disassembly / tooling.

MACHINE CONTROL PANEL

AUTO START,

2.1.1 AUTO START

 When the button is pressed once, the machine


starts automatic cycle.

2.1.2 AUTO STOP

 When the button is pressed once, the cycle is


completed and the machine stops.

 Forced stop: if the main ring is rotating or cycle


is going on, hold the auto stop button for 5
seconds to stop cycle.

2.1.3 HOME POSITION

 When the button is pressed, the stretch ring,


stretch cartridge group will move to the starting
position.

 This button is used after an emergency stop.

2.1.4 EMERGENCY STOP

 It is a critical part of machine safety.

 This button is used to stop the machine in an


emergency.

2.1.5 STRETCH FILM INSTALLATION

 Used to attach the film to the machine when the


stretch film roll is changed or the film tears.

 The buttons are located inside and outside of


the main stretch wrapping machine to attach
the stretch film to ECOWRAP unit.

2.1.6 BRAKE FREE

 Stretch motor brake is used to manually rotate


the inner ring by applying manual voltage.

1. Operation Mode: Pressing the F1 key after the machine is turned on will select the fast mode
and the F2 key when the slow mode is selected.

2. Settings: There are 2 prescriptions ready in EASYWRAP.

NOTE: Do not operate the machine without adjusting the recipe settings.

4.1 OPERATION MODE


If the machine is ready for use after the panel is opened, the system will display the system ready as
shown in the figure. The mode must be selected before selecting a recipe. When F1 is pressed, fast
mode is selected, and F2 key is selected and slow mode is selected.
Quick Mode: This mode is suitable for winding wide materials.
Slow Mode: This mode can be selected to wrap narrow materials.

4.2 SETTINGS
Recipe adjustments are selected according to fast mode and slow mode. Pressing Set1 after selecting
the mode, we enter into the recipe settings of the quick mode and the recipe settings of the slow
mode when the Set2 key is pressed. After entering the recipe settings, the following screen will
appear on the panel.

After entering the recipe settings, the keys F1, F2 and F3 will become the setting keys. Pressing the
F1 key (step change) will increase the F2 key increase and the F3 key decrease. After making each
setting in the prescription, we confirm the setting we made by pressing that key on which
prescription.

For example; If we are making adjustments to the Quick Mode recipe, the Set1 key setting is the
confirmation / pass key.

After entering the prescription setting of the quick mode with Set1 key, you can confirm the setting
with Set1 key and switch to the other setting. After performing the same operation in 8 different
settings, the presetting settings of the Quick mode are completed. The same can be done with the
Set2 key.

Entry Wrapping Tour Number: Sets how many turns the material will wind up at the entrance.

Out Wrapping Tour Number: Sets how many turns will be wound at the exit.

Entry Top Press Time: This is the time when the upper presses will descend after entering the
material infeed conveyor.

Out Top Press Time: This is the time when the upper presses will descend after entering the material
infeed conveyor

Out Conveyor Stop Time: This setting adjusts when the conveyor will stop after wrapping is finished.

Entry Wrapping Time: This setting adjusts when the wrapping will start after infeed photocell see the
material.

For example; If the value is entered as 1 second, the photocell will see the product and if it calculates
the input for about 1 second, the press will go down.

Out Wrapping Time: This setting adjusts when the wrapping will stop after outfeed photocell see the
material’s bottom.

Retraction Time: This setting adjusts the distance for revert-back movement for a better front-side
covering of the packaged goods.

For example; When entered as 0.8 seconds, it will rewind the material for 0.8 seconds while making
the startpoint wrapping.

4.3 OPERATING MODE

After entering the recipe settings, the settings are confirmed when we return to the main screen. If
there is “RING IS NOT AT HOME POSITION” on the screen, we press the blue button to start the
machine to the starting position.

The F3 key on the panel is used to retrieve the conveyor when the recipe settings section is passive.
When we hold down the F3 key, the conveyor moves backwards during the time we hold it.

When the SYSTEM IS READY screen is displayed, press the green Start button to start stretch
wrapping. If a fault is encountered, press the Emergency Stop button or the red button to perform
the stop operation.

NOTE: If the recipe settings have not been made and / or the recipe is not selected, the AUTO START
button will not start the machine. Make prescription settings before the EASYWRAP unit can start
winding; then the recipe must be selected with the F1 or F2 key. Recipe selection and recipe setting
are shown in sections 3.4.1 and 3.4.2.
