1. CLIENT :

1. Database
2. Sap installed in the database
3. Collection of components is called SAP ( Components nothing but modules like FICO,SD,MM…)
4. Collection of packages is components
5. Collection of programs is packages
6. Collection of tables is programs
7. There are objects in those tables
8. Clients in these tables
IMP:
1. after installation there is a default client called 000 comes with master data

2. number of clients can install in the sap system is 000 to 999 clients

3. 000 is default/standard client

4. 001 is master client

5. 066 is early watch client (like CCTV ,Ticket rising to resolve issue , its in old system )

NOTE::::::

1. Database contain two types of data : A) STANDARD/DEFAULT/REPOSITORY DATA(000 data)

B) CUSTOMIZED DATA (we given in other clients)

2. We cannot customize data on default client 000

 2. 000 is a default client created automatically with master data after SAP installation

3. so to customize data as per client requirement , we create another client using T code SCC4

4. client 756 created, but it is completely empty , so we copy default data (master) from 000 client to another
client 756 . this is called client copy

5. if another client called 333 asked you to copy data from client 756 , is it possible? Yes it is possible . we can
copy data from either clients means we can copy from either 000 or from 756 to 333
