Hi Mom and Dad,

I think it is going to be the most amazing autumn in my life. My second year here is off to a great start.
My classes are good, and I have finally found a place to live. It feels like home already. I got two
roommates. And you know what? The two guys who live here are just like me. They clean the bathroom
about once a month, and they never clean the floor because they don’t have a vacuum cleaner. Once a
week, they get together and do all the dishes. They wait until there aren’t any clean ones left. I am sure I
will get along with these guys better than Felix, the clean boy I lived with last year.

Do you remember Felix? I talked to him yesterday. He still cleans, washes, and mops almost every day.
He is so busy with housework that he rarely has time to have fun. I am usually out with friends in the
evenings and on weekends. I think he is jealous.

By the way, how is life there? Is everything going well? Are you still coming to visit next month? I know
that you are both busy. How often do you have time to fly to Seattle with this new job, Mom? It sounds
like you are there almost every week.

Anyway, I hope you can come soon. I look forward to seeing you.

Love,

Oscar.
