Dear Sir, Further to the Contractors letter ref. ASGC-PK105-MACE-0172 dated 26 January 2021 and its subsequent response from the Contract Administrator (CA) ref. Mace/ASGC/UTC4105/L/00167 dated 15 February 2021, concerning the Contractor's settlement of the Social Insurance amounts. Unfortunately, and due to the delayed response in receiving such stamped Documents, the Ministry of Social Insurance have already charged the Contractor to pay a total amount of EGP. 5,283 (only five thousand, two hundred and eighty-three Egyptian Pounds), as interest fee against delayed settlement for such amounts. Considering the above mentioned and knowing that such delays were beyond the Contractor's reasonable control; the Contractor hereby kindly requests the Employer's intervention and directives to release of the aforementioned violation penalty amounts; as the Contractor has already justified its position and absolved itself from such responsibility. Accordingly and in light of the above, the Contractor hereby reserve all its rights under the Contract to be indemnified against such penalties, due to the delayed issuance of the stamped Social Insurance Settlement amounts; whereas the said delays are solely attributed to the delays encountered in dispatching such documents to the Contractor by the Employer.
