How To Get Started In The Digital Economy? 24

Conclusion 26

WiFi Money 101 2

Why Make WiFi Money?
There are almost 4.4 billion active internet users.

And I was broke for years because I didn’t tap into this market.

Worse yet, when I tried, I hopped from one way of making money to another.

I tried out many of them at the same time. But I never went deep.

Today I know better.

Once I decided on ONE way to make WiFi Money, things started going my way.

I started selling my services on Twitter in 2018. Once I became known in Twitter, I

began selling ebooks in 2019. Which led me to create courses that same year. And
these courses became the foundation of my coaching in 2020.

The transition between them was flawless because I stuck to ONE way of making WiFi
Money for a long period of time before moving to the next one.

And today I'll show you 8 different ways to tap into the trillion-dollar digital economy.

To be honest, I could've kept this list within the 3-5 ways, but the thing is I want to give
you options so you can create your own WiFi Money path.

So read along.

But before you do, I highly recommend you choose only one of the ways to make WiFi
Money and stick to it for at least 3 months. If you don’t, you'll end up running in circles
and wondering why nothing is working.

Good?

So let's get started.

Way #1:

Make Money Selling Ebooks

With Ebooks you have complete control of what to say, how to say it, what to include,
what not to include, how much I'll charge for them…

If you like writing, releasing an ebook could become a great source of income.

In a nutshell, the process of creating an ebook looks like this:

● Open a Google Document

● Write 500 words every day
● Design a cover page on Canva
● Save the document as a PDF
● Upload to an e-commerce platform like Gumroad
● Launch

You can sell ebooks at higher prices than printed books. The reason is they usually
provide an answer to a tiny but painful problem. This means that your ebooks aren’t
meant for the general public. Instead, you craft them for a small audience with a specific
problem you can teach them to solve.

Benefits For Ebooks Writers

Establish authority and build credibility. Ebooks make your readers associate you
with the topics you write about. For example, if you publish tons of fitness ebooks,
people will see you as a fitness expert.

Generate leads and newsletter subscribers with ease. Feel free to write ebooks with
the intention to give them away for free to incentivize people to join your newsletter.

Easy to repurpose content. In full transparency, the idea for this free ebook was born
from an email I sent to my newsletter. I saw it got a ton of praise, so I decided to expand
the information and turn it into this ebook.

Cheap to create. You don’t need much to write an ebook. I used Google Docs for the
layout, Canva for the cover page, and Grammarly for spellchecking to create this guide.

WiFi Money 101 4

Easy to updated. Just edit your document and send the update to your buyers.

No inventory. No Shipping. No need to hold on to inventory. People buy a copy of your

ebook, and the software delivers it to them.

Global reach. You can distribute your ebooks through different digital channels like:
blog articles, social media, newsletters, paid ads.

Instant gratification for you and your readers. There’s virtually no waiting time to get
access to an ebook. Your readers give you their email addresses, and they gain instant
access to your content. And you'll also get a notification on every sale you make.

Cons For Ebook Writers

A lot of people prefer paper. Every avid book reader says they love the smell of new
books. So you may fail to get a few sales at first, but you can always print your ebook.

A printed book feels better. Having your book printed out gives you a sense of
achievement that an ebook might not offer. But, if you get over this and start measuring
what can be measured (sales and money), this stops being an issue.

Confusing tech stack. Learning new software can overwhelming. That’s why I
recommend beginners to use Gumroad. Gumroad is the simplest e-commerce tool in
the market.

Piracy. It’s a risk you must accept. I see being pirated as a badge of honor. Not
because I like it, but because it means that I’m worthy of being copied, plagiarized, and
pirated. That said, piracy is against the law. So don’t pirate content.

He Grew A 6-figure Coaching Business In 8 Months.
My client Joseph Oliver made his first $3.5K with a new
business venture in his first month. He eventually grew it to
6-figure sales in under 8-months.

The best thing?

● He didn’t pay for ads
● He leveraged his arbitrage expertise
● It didn’t prevent him from growing his main business

Here’s what we did.

His Business
Joseph owns a multi-six-figure flipping business. He wanted start a new coaching
business teaching others how to sell stuff on Amazon and eBay.

The Challenge?
Joseph had two major challenges she needed to face.

1. He had Twitter small audiece

2. He didn’t have a coaching offer

The Solution
Joseph joined my Breakthrough Coaching program. During the coaching, I
detected many opportunities to help him create his new coaching service.

● First, we worked on creating his coaching offer.

● Second, we launched his email newsletter.
● Third, we showed him how to pitch his new coaching service.

The results?
After one month of coaching with me, Joseph got his first 3 clients, bringing in
$3.5K in sales in his first month. This coaching business eventually made him
6-figures in sales in less than 8 months.

Why did it work?

Joseph has a unique, systematic approach to flipping. His process is streamlined
and well organized because he had experience managing inventory from his
previous 9-to-5 jobs. What we did was document his system, processes, and
methods to turn it into the foundations of his coaching services.

Way #2:

Flipping Items Online

Flipping is slang for arbitrage, buying an asset for a low price and selling it for a profit.

For example, one of my Breakthrough Coaching students owns a multi-six-figure

business where he buys toys at Walmart and selling them on eBay and Amazon. He
literally buys toys at a discount and sells them higher than the original retail price.

Also, I know people who buy Rolex watches at $10,000 apiece and selling them for
$30,000.

The process is simple.

Buy low, sell high.

If you'd like to learn more about this, follow Coach Joe Hart and Joseph Oliver (my
student) on Twitter.

Pros Of Flipping
Quick profit. You can buy low-cost products at Walmart and sell them for a profit on
Facebook Marketplace, eBay, or Amazon.

Low initial cost. You don’t need to create the products or hold massive amounts of
inventory.

Low-risk, simple business model. You buy stuff at a low cost and sell it for a profit.
You can start by buying things at $5 and selling them for $20-$50. As time passes by,
you buy more expensive stuff and sell it for a profit.

High traffic. Amazon, eBay, and Facebook Marketplace send users to your postings.
But you’ll need to optimize your product’s page so it gets more traffic.

You can sell on different platforms. You’re not tied to Amazon, eBay, or Amazon. You
can sell various products in each of these marketplaces.

WiFi Money 101 7

Cons Of Flipping
Holding inventory. After a while, managing your inventory can become a nightmare.
And overselling can become a liability. You'll have to rent a warehouse or hire a
fulfillment center, but by the time you need to incure in this cost, I guess that you're
already making the bag.

Shipping and handling. If you shipped something and don’t have insurance, you’ll
have to refund the money to the buyer, and you lost the product.

Difficult to build trust with your customers. One lousy feedback can destroy your
reputation. Getting people to trust you when you have zero-star ratings on some of
these platforms is challenging.

Software learning curve. Learning the Amazon, eBay, and Facebook marketplace
algorithms can be a hassle. These platforms are search engines for products, so you’ll
have to study their algorithms.

Lousy customers. Dealing with nightmare customers can be demoralizing, especially

at the beginning when you’re only making $5-$50 per sale.

Way #3:

Create And Sell Video Courses

I like to think about video courses as ebooks on steroids. I've literally turned some part
of my ebooks into slides of my courses.

The process to create video course is simple:

● You outline the content.

● You design your slideshow on PowerPoint, Keynote, or Canva.
● And you record yourself talking to the camera while sliding through your
presentation.
● Once you record the videos, you edit them.

To record your course, you can use apps like:

● Screenflow (paid, Mac only)

● Loom (free)
● Zoom (free)

Creating a well-produced video course takes longer than writing an ebook, but people
are willing to pay more for them.

Pros Of Creating And Selling Video Courses

Separate time from income. You create the video course one time, and you can sell it
many, many times.

Easy management. You can continuously update your courses by adding more videos,
templates, and resources to them.

High margins. You keep 90% of most sales before taxes. Not bad!

Free to start. You can use free software such as Loom or Zoom to record your screen
and yourself. And use iMovie for Mac or Shotcut for PC to edit your videos.

WiFi Money 101 9

Cons Of Creating And Selling Video Courses
It’s a lot of work. Good courses contain much more than just video content. They also
come with templates, cheatsheets, and additional resources.

Some people still think it’s a scam. It’s normal to get called a scammer when you sell
digital courses. Get used to it.

You need a big audience. Creating a video course is one ingredient of a more
extensive formula. Once you create the course, you need to market it. If you don’t have
many followers, you’ll have a tough time selling these videos courses.

Difficult to price correctly. Should you price your courses at $25? Or $97? Or 497? Or
the infamous $997? I recommend always starting at a lower price, then raising it as you
get more testimonials.

Piracy. Every digital product can be pirated. It’s the law of the land. Get used it.

Made over $25,000 with only a single piece of advice
My client Alex Feinberg went from being a total beginner to
creating and selling thousands of dollars in digital
products.

The best thing?

● He used Twitter to get customers.

many opportunities to help him generate more sales.

● First, we worked on his messaging to attract the right followers.

Way #4:

Promote And Sell Professional Services

Let's say you own an SEO agency (SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization).

You can sell this service online.

How?

You have multiple avenues.

But I'll talk about two major ones.

● Cold Email
● Social Media Marketing.

Cold email is the art of sending emails to “strangers.” But not any kind of strangers.

These strangers are people you've researched and believe you can help.

Once you decide to send a cold email to these “strangers,” you can either automate this
process with Mailshake or send them manually.

On the other hand, you have social media marketing.

This consists of optimizing your social media accounts so that people who visit your
profile instantly know what you do.

You achieve this by posting content relevant to the type of clients you're trying to attract.

Pros Of Sell Professional Services

Flexible hours. You work when you want. But you’ll need super time-management
skills and discipline to make sure you don’t sway away from putting in the work. I mean,
you technically don’t have a boss to boss you around.

Pick your projects. You work with who you want to work with. If you don’t like the
prospects, you can disqualify them on the spot. Just say, “I’m not the right fit for the
project.”

WiFi Money 101 12

Better income potential. One client can pay you as much as what you make in one
month at an ol’ 9-to-5 job.

Easy to pivot between careers. Got bored with web design? Get into funnel creation.
Or email marketing. Or sales. You’re your boss. So do as you please.

Cons Of Selling Professional Services

Hard to convey value. Intangibles are hard to sell when you’re a beginner. So you
better get good at sales if you want to make more money selling your services.

Lack of trust. When you’re starting this new venture, you might need to work for free to
get a couple of testimonials and experience. These testimonials are golden to gain trust.

Time off is unpaid. Got sick? You won’t get paid. Being lazy? You won’t get paid.
Selling your services is mostly selling your time.

Loneliness. Being self-employed, running a new agency, or building a new freelancing

business can be lonely at times. You’ll need to get comfortable with the idea of spending
hours in solitude.

Rejection. Getting rejected is the #1 reason why most people quit selling their services.
Getting told “no” on a Zoom call can be a distressing experience for most people.

You’re selling your time. You get paid for putting in the hours even if you’re not
charging on an hourly basis. Your income is determined mainly by the time and effort
you put into your business.

21-Year-Old Student Grew A 6-figure Content Creation Agency
In Less Than 12 Months
My client Shreya Pattar is a 21-year-old full-time English
Literature student from India who went from charging $100
bucks per article to growing her agency to 6-figures and
selling tens of thousand of dollars in digital products.

I met Shreya in October 2020. She reached out to me on

Instagram to offer me her content creation service.

Back then, I was looking for someone to design posts for my Instagram page, so
I agreed to the meeting. Shreya sent me the Zoom link, I clicked it, and there we
were, talking about the future of my IG page. After some questions, she told me
the price, and I said no. But only because she didn't offer me what I needed. So I
told her exactly what I did. Two months passed, and I was so impressed by her
skills that I decided to coach her in closing bigger deals.

Before The Coaching

● Frustrated because she didn't have a lead generation system that worked.
● Terrified of losing clients and being ghosted if she raised her prices.
● Annoyed at her self-perceived lack of sales skills.

After The Coaching

● More confident in raising her prices.

● Less anxious to reach out to people online.
● Eager to ask for payment on the phone.

The Solution

● We raised her prices.

● We avoided projects that generated less than $2000.
● We setup her social media lead generation systems.
● We went through my step-by-step process for conducting sales call.

The results?
Grew a six-figure agency and sold thousands of dollars in digital products during
2021.

Way #5:

Offer Online Coaching

I remember the first time a friend told me about his online fitness coaching.

My jaw dropped when he said,

“I get paid between $3,000–$5,000 for 12-week online coaching. We Zoom once a
week, and they get unlimited text support from me.”

Think about this: fitness coaching without physical presence.

We're currently living in a new era of online coaching.

We have fitness coaches, business coaches, holistic medicine coaches, sales coaches
taking full advantage of the golden age of online coaching.

Incredible!

If you have a skill and you love to teach, try online coaching.

Pros Of Online Coaching

Flexibility. You work with who you want. You plan your schedule around your life and
not your life around your work.

Meet interesting people. Helping people you like win at life is satisfying. Coaching will
teach you a lot about others, and you’ll learn a lot about yourself too.

Quick feedback. You see other peoples’ results in real-time. Your students keep you
posted about their successes, and you can talk about their wins online as they are
happening.

Premium prices. You can charge a lot more money for a 12-week program with a
30-minute weekly call than you can for 12 individual 1-hr consultation calls.

WiFi Money 101 15

Cons Of Online Coaching
Anyone can call themselves a coach. There are a lot of people with zero experience
calling themselves coaches, which devalues the whole market.

Some people prefer in-person training. Yes, a lot of people still prefer in-person
training. For example, I’ve been offered only fitness coaching, but I always reject their
offerings because I like my personal trainer to help me lift.

Require good time management. With coaching, you’re still selling your time. So you’ll
have to plan ahead so that coaching doesn’t destroy your leisure time.

More risk. People expect more from you because they paid a premium price for your
coaching service.

How His Sales Went Up 600%
My client Ethan "Holistic Meathead" Buck increased his
monthly sales by 600% in March 2021, from closing
$700/mo to $5K/mo.

The best thing?

● He used social media to get leads.
● He didn't spend money on ads.
● He didn't need to set up automations and funnels.

Let's find how he pulled this off.

His Business
Ethan is an Online Fitness Coaching – he helps men in their 30's and 40's get
leaner, stronger, and more confident.

The Challenge?
Ethan had three challenges he needed to face.

1. Getting more leads

2. Increase his closing rate
3. Feel more confident raising his prices

The Solution
Ethan joined my Breakthrough Coaching program. During the coaching, I
detected many opportunities to help him generate more sales.

● First, we optimized his coaching landing page.

● Second, we perfected his sales pitch.
● Third, we developed a marketing strategy to generate leads.

The results?
After one month of coaching with me, he fixed his landing page, got an influx of
new leads through social media, and increased his closing rate, leading to a
600% increase in monthly sales.

Why did it work?

Not only was his messaging more precise and simpler to understand, but he also
discovered how to convey the value of his offer during the sales calls.

Way #6:

Make And Sell Templates

Have you created templates for yourself to save time and streamline your work?

Well, start selling them too.

There's a massive market for design templates, photo filters, Notion templates.

If it saves you time, it can also save time for other people.

Pros Of Selling Templates

Lots of free traffic. Many of the template marketplaces recommend your products to
their users. Your job is to write a compelling description of your product to persuade
people to buy it.

Separate time from income. Like other types of digital products, you only need to
create the template once and sell it multiple times.

Easy to update. You can provide your buyers with new updates to make them happier
they bought your product.

Cons Of Selling Templates

Prices are stagnant. Unlike ebooks and video courses, there seems to be a cap on
how much you can charge for most templates, primarily if you sell them in a
marketplace.

No branding. People buy templates to modify them. And once they edit the templates,
most people won’t know you were the original creator.

Piracy. Get used to it because your templates will eventually get pirated.

WiFi Money 101 18

Way #7:

Content Creation & Building A Personal Brand

If you're proficient in a skill, you can grow a social media audience by teaching people
that skill.

Take, for example, @blackhatwizardd, who grew a Twitter audience and made
hundreds of thousands of dollars teaching cold email marketing.

The process to grow a personal brand is simple:

● Jot down your ideas

● Post them online.
● Do this regularly
● And connect with others

See, having an online audience will change your life.

And you don't even need a massive audience.

Take Andrew Strohm as an example.

He started promoting his sales coaching when he had 2,000 followers on Twitter.

He closed over $15,000 in just a couple of weeks.

How?

He proved to his small audience he knew about sales and then he launched his
coaching service.

Pros Of Personal Branding

Establish authority quicker. Nothing says that you believe in yourself more than
posting your ideas on social media. Most people can’t handle the scrutiny, so those who
follow you truly appreciate the effort you make.

Build lasting relationships. Having a personal brand opens new opportunities quickly.
People with similar interests will follow you and reach out to you.

WiFi Money 101 19

You build confidence. Having a personal brand does make your skin tougher. I mean,
you’re sticking your neck out, and doing so puts you in harm’s way. But worry not,
because you mostly get praised.

People buy you. Not your product. I always tell my coaching students that people
don’t buy their products, services, or coaching. People buy them. Your audience buys
from you because they trust you.

Cons Of Personal Branding

More risk involved. If you post something offensive, you’ll attract haters and negative
publicity. If you post often, prepare yourself for criticism because some people will hate
your ideas.

You are who people say you are. Personal branding is a game of perception. So you
have to work hard to maintain a positive perception.

Living for the brand instead of living the moment. For example, taking photos and
shooting videos instead of savoring the moment. Every person who gets into building a
personal brand eventually runs into this issue.

There’s no business without you. Since people buy you and follow you, you can’t sell
your personal brand. Nevertheless, you can delegate some content creation to save
time while building new businesses by leveraging your personal brand.

Privacy concerns. If you build a massive online presence, people will recognize you in
public, and strangers will treat you like a long-lost friend, which could be uncomfortable
for most.

Way #8:

Make Money With Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate Marketing, when done correctly, can be a source of passive income.

Many people mess up their affiliate marketing efforts because they think they can
quickly become rich by promoting their Amazon Affiliate links or someone else's
courses.

But you’re built differently. So you’ll put in the work to maintain a high-quality.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is selling other people's products and make a commission from each
sale.

While making a good amount of money with affiliate marketing is possible, bear in mind
that the best affiliate marketing experts play the long game.

And they do so because Affiliate Marketing consists of driving tons of traffic to someone
else's products.

Many affiliate programs pay you not only for the initial sale you make but also for future
purchases. These are the best affiliate programs you can get into. Legendary Marketer
has a couple of these programs.

Personally, I like the recurring revenue programs. For example, ConvertKit (aff lin), the
newsletter platform I use, pays me a 30% commission of the recurring payments they
get from people who joined using my link.

Pros Of Affiliate Marketing

Save time from creating products. You don’t have to update the product. You won’t
have to fulfill anything. You drive traffic. And you’re done. Your sole job is to market the
affiliate product.

Minimal investment. Most affiliate programs are free to join. Most of the time and
money you’ll invest will be creating content to promote these products.

WiFi Money 101 22

Flexibility. You can work from anywhere. You can promote the affiliate product on any
platform (as long as it’s not against the platform’s terms of service). And you can even
delegate all the content creation to an agency or a freelancer.

Cons Of Affiliate Marketing

Lack of control. When you promote other people’s products, you tie your brand to that
product. You’re also a third party, so you have no control over the product itself and
what its maker does after they get the sale.

Commission-based payment. Many affiliate programs usually provide high

commissions (30%-50%). But bear in mind that they can change it whenever they
please as long as it’s part of the original agreement, which it is in many cases.

It’s a long-term strategy. Getting affiliate sales requires you to drive tons of traffic to
these products. Since you’re not the product creator, the number of people who
purchase it is usually lower than if you had been the creator.

High competition. People think affiliate marketing is easy. So they join, believing they’ll
become rich by selling other people’s stuff. For this reason, competition is high. So you’ll
have to battle for the clicks and traffic.

How To Get Started In The Digital Economy?
First, decide on which of the eight ways you'll pursue.

Then, commit to stick to it and work on it every day.

And don't be like some people who quit after seven days.

Put in the work.

But no matter which way you choose, here's a 3 phase process on getting started.

Phase 1. Research
First, figure out who are the key players in the industry you choose.

Look at their success.

You're going to want to emulate their process, not their success, because you can copy
methods but not results. Make a note of their systems and processes. And Discover the
patterns.

Second, travel back a couple of years to find out what they do to get where they are.
Work out a way to implement what you discover. See what they did so you have
someone you can aspire to reach.

Third, research the type of clients you want to work with.

Dig deep to find out about their problems and aspirations.

Discover what it is that they actually want. People lie to themselves all the time. It's up
to you to sort the fact from the fiction.

Spend a couple of hours doing this.

And finally, don't use research as a way to procrastinate on taking action.

Phase 2. Plan And Set Goals
Keep your goals small at first.

If you overcomplicate the process, you're going to psyche yourself out.

And make a plan to get there. Start by mapping out the daily actions you have to take to

I recommend you invest 30 to 60 minutes every day in your new venture.
