A. Proper Noun
 A Proper Noun is the special name of a person, place, animal or thing.

 All Proper Nouns begin with a capital letter. Eg. Rahul, Tina, Mumbai , Taj Mahal.

 Names of the days of the week, months , special days, festivals, rivers, sea, oceans
and holy books are proper nouns. Eg. Monday, July, Republic Day, Diwali, Ganga,
Indian Ocean , Bible.

B. Common Noun
 A common noun is the general name of any person, place, animal or thing.

Eg. Boy , table, market , bus, dog

Ex. 1 Put the following nouns in the right column.
