Faith, hope, and charity are all included in the first commandment.

When we say "God," we refer

to an eternal, unchanging being who is always the same, faithful and just, and free of all evil. As
a result, we must accept his statements, have absolute faith in him, and recognize his authority.
He is all-powerful, merciful, and all-benevolent. Who wouldn't put their trust in him? How could
you not love him when you consider the gifts of goodness and Love he has lavished on us? As a
result, God uses the formula 'I am the LORD' at the beginning and finishes his instructions in the
Bible.

In the first commandment, man is commanded to believe in God, hope in him, and love him
above all else.

Adoration is the first act of religious virtue. Affirming God as God, the Creator, and Savior, the
Lord, and Master of all that exists, as boundless and merciful Love, is to adore him. In
Deuteronomy, Jesus states, "You shall worship the Lord your God, and he only shall you serve."
