Physical violence - is when a person hurts or tries to hurt a partner by hitting,

kicking, or using another type of physical force. (National Center for Injury

Psychological violence - can be defined as the intentional act against a person or
collective force that results in physical, mental, spiritual, moral, and social harm,
including insults, threats, attacks, verbal abuse (Ray, 2007; Peng et al., 2018).
Neglect - involves not meeting children's basic needs: physical, medical,
educational, and emotional. (Alicia R. P. 2021)
Exploitation - is the abuse of a child where some form of remuneration is involved
or whereby the perpetrators benefit in some manner – monetarily, socially,
politically, etc. Exploitation constitutes a form of coercion and violence, detrimental
to the child’s physical and mental health, development, and education. (Action for
the Rights of Children (ARC))
