Good morning ladies and gentlemen!

It is a great pleasure for me to welcome you all to this Virtual

Schools Press Conference. I am very glad to acknowledge my team: The Harvest Club Officers. Our
speakers: Ms. Joyce Evangelista, Ms. Jean Valerie Collera, Ms. Christine Untalan, Sir Billy Rei Pagba,
and other Grade-level participants who are with us today.
Campus journalism plays a pivotal role in the school. It trains campus journalists to be responsible writers
in the exercise of press freedom. May this press conference enhance your journalistic writing skills to
perform one of the cardinal principles of journalism: truth and accuracy.
It is quite unfortunate that because of the pandemic, we will not be having the usual press conference
which our young campus journalists really look forward to at this time of the year. However, we do not
want to make them idle that’s why we are conducting this online training and workshop for campus
journalism for the students to stay abreast of the skills and concepts in journalism.
Well, I don’t want to take too much of time. Ladies and gentlemen, Let me finally wish you a successful
virtual schools press conference full of learning and experience.
