MEDIA AND INFORMATION LITERACY

In this subject Media and information literacy I, learned that Information and media
literacy enables us to show and make informed judgments as users of information and
media, as well as to become skillful creators and producers of information and media
messages in their own right. Media and Information Literacy, defined as the ability to
access, analyze, and create media, is a prerequisite for citizens to realize their rights to
freedom of information and expression. A rights-based approach is pursued to define
Media and information literacy in general, and Digital Media and Information Literacy in
particular. Media and information literacy help people make their own choices and
realize their human rights. And i also learned that there is a law that prohibits copyright
of works that helps the real owners to have their own rights in their works.
