‘Open the service door to release the hood latch.
STEP 2
Pull the hood latch lever forward to release the hood,
Lift the hood up until the front hinge locks.
NOTE: When opening the hood in windy conditions
ut the front of the tractor toward the wind.

STEP 3
Pull out on the bottom rear corner and remove the
two side panels.
STEP 4
Scratch lines as shown to mark the location of the
lower grille, to ald in location during assembly. Mark
both sides of the tractor.

Remove the retaining clip from the balll socket on the
top of the two hood lift cylinders.
STEP 10
Disconnect the two hood lift cylinders from the ball

With the hood safely support for removal, remove the
two mounting nuts from each hood mount bracket
Remove the hood from the tractor.
NOTE: The hood cylinders are no longer supporting
the hood.

STEP 14
With the hood properly supported, install the hood on
the tractor. Install the four hood mounting nuts
loosely onto the mounting brackets,

STEP 15
Install the lower grille assembly. Loosely install the
four bolts and washers and nuts and align the grille,
assembly with the lines made in Step 4, Tighten the
four grille assembly bolts.

‘The hood must be lowered and the latch engaged on both sides of the hood. Align the hood mount brackets with
the scratch lines made in Step 11, i the hood was properly aligned before removal. Tighten the four mounting bolts
To adjust the hood, pull the hood assembly as far forward as possible. With a minimum of 19 mm (0.51 in)
clearance from the lower rear comer of the hood to the cab window, tighten the four mounting nus

Tighten the four hinge mounting nuts to a torque of
59 to 106 Nm (43 to 78 Ib ft.
STEP 18
1. 1.5mm (08:
‘The hood stop bolts should be set at 15.5 mm (0.61
In) from the weldnut surface as shown. If hood will
rot latch, screw stop bolts upward until the hood will
latch. If unlatching effort is excessive, screw stop
bolts downward until unlatching effort is reduced.
NOTE: The hood latch will be difficult to release
when not properly adjusted.

STEP 19
Connect the two hood lift cylinders to the ball studs
‘on the hood and install the retaining clips.
STEP 20
Install the retaining nuts on each ball socket on the
bottom of the two hood ltt cylinders,
Connect the two wiring harness plugs to the two
head lamps.

Push the hinge lock up to release. Pull the hood
down until the hood locks in place.

RADIATOR REMOVAL

Remove the hood, grille and side panels from the
tractor. See Hood, Grille and Side Panel Removal in
this section.
STEP 25
Remove the three screws between the air cleaner
assembly and the air intake duct.
STEP 26
Remove the air intake duct.

Install a drain hose on the radiator drain vaive.
Remove the radiator cap and drain the coolant from
the radiator. Close the drain valve when the system
is empty.
Disconnect the lower radiator hose and the heater
return line,

Disconnect the upper radiator hose and the radiator
to deaeration tank hose.
STEP 30
Mark the location of the transmission tubes for
assembly. Remove the transmission tubes trom the
oll cooler. Cap the lines to prevent contamination
from entering the system.
STEP 31
Mark the location of the fuel cooler lines for
assembly. Disconnect the fuel cooler lines. Cap the
lines to prevent contamination from entering the
system,

STEP 32
Unbott the recelver-drier from the front frame.
STEP 33
Unbolt both sides of the condenser/oil cooler
assembly. Lift the condenser/oil cooler assembly,
with receiver-drier attached, straight up and out of
the front frame, Place the complete assembly at the
side of the tractor near the air conditioner
compressor. Hose lengths will restrict further
movement.

STEP 34
Loosen the air conditioner compressor and remove
the compressor belt.
STEP 35
Romove the radiator fan by removing the four
mounting bolts.

Remove the two frame retaining bolts on each side of
the radiator.
Remove the radiator assembly with fan shroud and
lower radiator hoses attached by lifting straight up.

Secure the air intake duct to the air cleaner with three
retaining screws.

Check the transmission oil level and add as required.
