Notes/Evidence: Lauren greeted students as they entered the classroom; set up procedures,
rules, and routines. Physical space was organized conducive to learning. Students showed respect

● Lauren used a variety of questioning techniques to encourage engagement and


understanding. Students worked independently, with a table partner, or in whole group
discussion. Formal and informal assessments were given for each lesson. Lauren reflected
on her lessons, and made adjustments to ensure comprehension of concepts taught.

● Lauren spent time after every lesson, debriefing with her field coordinator, making
adjustments so that student learning was ensured. Instruction was organized and
technology used appropriately in every lesson. Lauren used a variety of resources to
ensure student understanding, as well as maintained accurate academic records of
student performance. Lauren wrote an introductory letter to parents, as well as
maintained records for family to peruse. Lauren displayed professionalism within the
classroom, with her cooperating teachers, and with school staff.
