Week 1
• Tema: Present Continuous (affirmative)
Vocabulario: subject pronouns, verb to be and verbs.
Objetivo: que los alumnos desarollen habilidades orales y escritas con
acciones que se realizan en el momento de forma afirmativa.
Target Language: I am running in the park. She is eating pizza in the
restaurant. You are crying.

• Tema: Present Continuous (negative)

Vocabulario: subject pronouns, verb to be and verbs.
Objetivo: que los alumnos desarollen habilidades orales y escritas con
acciones que se realizan en el momento de forma negativa.
Target Language: He isn’t walking on the street. We aren’t playing
football.

• Tema: Present Continuous (interrogative)

Vocabulario: subject pronouns, verb to be and verbs.
Objetivo: que los alumnos desarollen habilidades orales y escritas con
acciones que se realizan en el momento de forma interrogativa. Dan
respuestas cortas acerca de imágenes e ilustraciones que observan.
Target Language: Is she cleaning her bedroom? Yes, she is. / No, she
isn’t.

• Tema: Present Continuous (affirmative, negative and interrogative)

Vocabulario: subject pronouns, verb to be and verbs.
Objetivo: que los alumnos sean capaces de elaborar de manera oral y
escrita oraciones affirmativas, negativas e interrogativas en presente
continuo. Identifican en diferentes portadores de texto.
Target Language: They are sitting on the floor. They aren’t sitting on the
floor. Are they sitting on the floor? Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.
Week 2
• Tema: Future simple will (affirmative)
Vocabulario: tonight, tomorrow.
Objetivo: que los alumnos utilicen “will” para expresar decisiones
espontanes y realicen predicciones sobre acontecimientos.
Target language: I will read a book tonight. They will win the match.

• Tema: Future simple: will (negative)

Vocabulario: won’t, verbs in infinitive.
Objetivo: que los alumnos empleen la forma negativa del futuro simple
“won’t” en oraciones orales y escritas.
Target Language: You won’t finish on time. She won’t play with us today.

• Tema: Future simple: will (interrogative)

Vocabulario: will, verbs in infinitive.
Objetivo: que los alumnos utilicen future will para expresar
decisiones espontanes y realicen predicciones sobre acontecimientos
de forma interrogativa.
Target Language: Will we go to the movies? Yes, we will. / No, we won’t.

• Tema: Future will affirmative, negative, and interrogative.

Vocabulario: will, won’t verbs in infinitive.
Objetivo: que los alumnos utilicen future will para expresar
decisiones espontanes y realicen predicciones sobre acontecimientos
de forma afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa.
Target Language: I will eat pizza for dinner. You won’t join the team. Will
she bake a cake? Yes, she will. / No, she won’t.

Week 3
• Tema: Compound Nous
Vocabulario: seafood, pancake, popcorn, rainbow, butterfly,
grasshopper, raincoat, toothbrush, classmate, snowman.
Objetivo: que los alumnos conozcan el significado de las palabras y que
al unirlas tienen un significado diferente, asi crean oraciones con
sustantivos compestos.
Target language: The butterfly is flying. The pancake is delicious. The
toothpaste is soft.
 • Tema: Past of verb to be (affirmative)
Vocabulario: was, were, proper nous, emotions, adjectives.
Objetivo: que los alumnos comprendan el uso del verb to be en pasado.
Elaboran oraciones cortas de forma escrita y oral. Son capaces de
ubicarlas en cualquier portador de texto.
Target Language: Sara was happy in the party. We were playful when we
were kids.

• Tema: Past of verb to be (negative)

Vocabulario: wasn’t, weren’t, subject pronouns or proper nous,
emotions, adjectives.
Objetivo: que los alumnos comprendan el uso del verb to be en pasado.
Elaboran oraciones oraciones cortas de forma escrita y oral de manera
negativa. Son capaces de ubicarlas en cualquier portador de texto.
Target Language My friends I weren’t sad in the party. The dog wasn’t
dirty.

Week 4
• Tema: Past of the verb to be (interrogative)
Vocabulario: Was, Were, Yes/No questions. emotions, subject pronouns
or proper nouns.
Objetivo: que los alumnos formulen preguntas y respuestas cortas con
el uso del verb to be en pasado con ilustraciones o fotografias que se les
presentan.
Target language: Was Peter interested on the film? Yes, Peter was.

• Tema: Past the verb to be (affirmative, negative, and interrogative)

Vocabulario: was, were, emotions, subject pronouns, or proper nouns.
Objetivo: que los alumnos realicen oraciones cortas de forma escrita y
oral de manera afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa. Consolidación del
uso y aplicación del verbo to be en pasado,
Target Language: They were bored in class. They weren’t bored in class.
Were they bored in class?

• Tema: In my free time (frequency adverbs)

 Vocabulario: always, sometimes, usually, often, never.
Objetivo: que los alumnos comenten y expresen en grupo las
actividades que realizan en su tiempo libre utilizando los adverbios de
frecuencia.
Target language: In my free time I always do exercise.

• Tema: Verbs of preference + -ing (like, love, hate)

Vocabulary: like, love, hate.
Objetivo: que los alumnos expresen las cosa que les gustan, aman y
odian hacer apoyados de like, love and hate.
Target language: I like running in the park. I love riding a bike. I hate
eating garlic.

• Tema: Object pronouns

Vocabulario: me, you, him, her, it, us, them.
Objetivo: que los alumnos conozcan y utilicen los pronombre de objeto
de manera personalizada en situaciones reales.
Target Language: She understood us. They saw me. He talked to them.

Week 5
• Tema: Let’s count and measure (How many /how long / how far)
Vocabulario: numbers, prepositions.
Objetivo: que los alumnos expresen mediante preguntas cuando
realizan algunas de sus actividades habituales y expresan preguntas
sobre cantidades,
Target Language: How many calls did you make? How long do you study
a day? How far is this forest?

• Tema: Rules at school (Could for permission)

Vocabulario: school objects.
Objetivo: que los alumnos soliciten permiso para realizar ciertas
actividades dentro del salon de clases.
Target language: Could I borrow your book? Could I sit here? Could I
open the window?

• Tema: What would you like? (Would like / food and drinks)
Vocabulario: would, like, wouldn’t, food and drinks.
 Objetivo: que los alumnos expresen mediante oraciones de manera oral
y escrita lo que les gustaria beber o comer y asi mismo, den respuestas
cortas utilizando would o wouldn’t.
Target language: Would you like some fish? Yes, I would. Would you like
lemon water? No, I wouldn’t.

Week 6
• Tema: Asking for directions (Where is ... / places / prepositions)
Vocabulario: between, behind, next to, in front of, under, on, in.
Objetivo: que los alumnos identifiquen, pregunten y respondan
preguntas con where acerca de imágenes en un contexto real con el
propósito de practicar el tema de preposiciones de lugar.
Target Language: Excuse me, where is the bank. / It´s on Elmer Street.

• Tema: Giving and opinion (Why ...? / Because)

Objetivo: que los alumnos comprendan el uso del “Why” y beacause,
expresen de manera oral y escrita el porque de sus respuestas y asi
justificar utilizando beacause.
Target Language: Why do you study English? Because I´d like to learn
travel around the world.

Week 7 and 8
Review and Evaluation for project or video.
Objetivo: que los alumnos utilicen el vocabulario adquirido durante el
nivel,el uso correcto de la gramatica aprendida y desarrollan la habilidad
oral mediante la exposición de un video o presentación de power point
o algún otro recuso como material de apoyo.
