New Examination Regulations Pertaining to COVID-19

The NDEB® is continually monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19 and implementing strategies to protect
candidates and staff. Accordingly, additional safety measures have been added to the February 2022
Assessment of Fundamental Knowledge™ (AFK) regulations.

NOTE: Each examination centre is required to comply with the guidelines and
legislation established by their municipal and provincial public health authorities
and governments. Please note that these may change from time to time.
Therefore, the measures may differ from exam centre to exam centre.

NOTE: Candidates who elect to take the NDEB®’s AFK™ in February 2022 will be in an
exam centre with other individuals. As such, and as is the case in any setting with
other individuals, there is a risk of contracting COVID- 19. Any candidates who
proceed to take the examinations in light of this risk are deemed to have assumed
that risk.

NOTE: If you refuse to complete the screening questionnaire, to wear a mask, to

obey any rule or safety measure, or to undergo a temperature check (if required
by the university at your exam centre), you will be asked to leave the exam centre
and you will not be permitted to take the exam.

NOTE: Examinees who elect to take an NDEB®’s Examination in February 2022

agree to the release of their name and contact information to the third-party
centre and public health should there be an outbreak or potential outbreak at the
examination centre.

The rules below are introduced because of Covid-19 and supersede any contrary regulations published in the
examination protocol.

You may be required to wait outside the examination centre until directed to enter the registration
area. Admittance to the examination centre will be staggered; therefore, you are strongly advised to
dress appropriately for weather conditions.

• If you do not pass the screening process, you will not be allowed to enter the examination room.
