BULLYING – RA 10627 OR ANTI-BULLYING

The Republic Act 10627 or the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 , was signed into law by Former
President Benigno Aquino III on September 6, 2013. The law requires all elementary and
secondary schools in the country to adopt on Anti-Bullying policies. Anyone who caught
committing bullying will shall have a fine of not less than PHP50,000 but not more than
PHP100,000 and/or by imprisonment from six months to a year.

DISCRIMINATION – RA 7610

The Republic Act 7610 was asigned into law by Former President Corazon Q. Aquino on June 17,
1992. Any person who discriminate against children of indigenous cultural communities shall
suffer a penalty of arresto mayor in its maximum period and a fine of not less than Five
thousand pesos (P5,000.00) more than Ten thousand pesos (P10, 000.00).

Why tourism law is important?


Tourism Laws are important in order to improve the promotion of tourism for the benefit of the
nation or of a certain place. It can also help those people involved in an accident or any
violation of human rights related with tourism to deal with it in a logical & fair way. And also to
provide a regulatory framework for the proper development and management of tourism
activities.
