Job Title: Technical Officer - IPTV System - 1

The position-holder is responsible for the overall management and operations of a growing
IPTV system. Responsibility also includes leading and mentoring a team. Additionally, candidate
is required to represent the company to the vendors, customers and all the stakeholders
outside the company.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with IPTV Service Provider for all the Middleware related systems and
technologies such as CMS, SMS, CRM, App management, Payment Integration etc.
2. Coordinate with vendor regarding the requirements related to IPTV equipment.
Responsible for testing of all the equipment prior to customer deployment.
3. Manage IPTV Streaming including all local and international channels.
4. Monitoring IPTV infrastructure and alerting all concerned stakeholders as well as
coordinating to resolve network and technical issues.
5. Manage and motivate team members to achieve the departmental targets.
6. Represent the department and coordinate with other functional units inside
organization and outside as and when needed.
7. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor

Job Specifications:

1. Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering in any discipline.


2. Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and managing IPTV related
technologies.
3. Able to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IPTV Systems and
Operations.
4. Good knowledge and preferably certification on Linux OS.
5. Candidate must have working-knowledge of network equipment from Cisco, Juniper etc.
6. Should have good communication and excellent leadership skills
7. Flexible regarding working hours. Willing to work during off-hours and holidays if
needed.
8. Candidate with own vehicle and driving license preferred.
