1. What is the basic process of automation?

There are two basic process of automation. The simple process is called manual,
where when in a process people will do the process manually. The basic process
of automation uses machines and sensors to do the simple task usually human
works.

2. How do you automate?

Automation uses technology to replace human basic work in a process. For

example, instead of human assembling a toy, it can be replaced by a machine
that assemble toys. Humans will then only assist the process.

3. What are its advantages, what are its disadvantages?

When applying automation on the process, the process will increase in efficiency.
It will improve its quality because of cancelling human errors in the process. It
can also lead to higher output and increase in productivity. It can also reduce the
number of hours work on average by factory workers.
Automation in other hand includes a high capital expenditure. It has also a lower
flexibility compared that humans. The biggest issue right now that automation is
although it is efficient, It substitute human to machines which leads to fewer jobs
for people.
