their use in collaborative education.

Collaborative learning is a method of teaching and learning in which a group of students collaborates to
solve a problem, accomplish a task, or create a product. Learning thrives in a social setting where
students may converse with one another. In this pandemic, we have had to rely on technology to sustain
life. We can accelerate the advancement of collaborative education with its support. Technology
includes social media sites. These platforms bring the entire world together in one spot. We improve
ourselves and keep a bridge in this important period by using this platform.

We adapt the changes and build a bridge between education and technology in current period of time.
As a result, we have adopted the culture of social media and its uses. However, as we all know, there are
some restrictions in place when the benefit is provided. In below we are going to describe about it.

1. Motivation factor: Humans are sociable creatures that enjoy being in close relationships. We
attempt to learn a lot of things by using social media, but we forget that it has an affect when
you spend a lot of time on it. When a student uses this social networking site to connect with
their school or education institute, if he or she receives a low grade or does poorly on an exam,
instructor encouragement will be less effective than when it becomes personal.
Disengaged, low-performing students could benefit from technologies that can bring in
otherwise disaffected pupils through tailoring of material to a student's interests or through
gaming technology. However, these technologies frequently limit student oversight, which may
be especially harmful for children who are less motivated or have less structured educational
help from home. It's also likely that these technologies won't be as effective at engaging reticent
students as a dynamic and captivating teacher.

Furthermore, techniques that fully avoid direct interpersonal connection are unlikely to be able
to teach certain abilities. Learning is a social activity by definition. While an intelligent tutor may
be able to assist a student in mastering specific math subjects, it may not be able to teach pupils
how to critically assess a piece of literature or discuss the ethical implications of new laws.

2. Quality factor: The biggest limitation is the quality of learning or education. Students who can
learn by in classroom teacher can measure it but in social platforms it is very difficult to find the
quality of learning or education. Teacher can find it by seeing the expression of student or can
talk or ask question or have a exam or mock test instead it is very hard to find if the student are
really learning or not, are they stay in class or do they cheat in exam. So, the quality of learning
or education is really questionable by using social media platforms in collaboration education.

3. Security of internet: In this day internet security maintain is really difficult. Children are
addicted to their mobile or laptop device. Parents were not that much concern what their child
are doing. So, children can do anything using social media platforms. In the internet their have
plenty much of adult sites or other stuff where they can go and it is harm for them. Sometimes it
gets difficult to maintain it. Children get addicted into it and it impacts their live and mental
health as well.

4. Mental factor: This is a big issue. If you consider at an age of 8-14 years old children, they are
directly getting harm by using these social platforms. They use it for work but using it heavily it
impacts their mental health. Teachers apply many methods to check their quality or assessment
their educational level or learning level. For that they involve themselves into these social
platforms or digitally. Some research shows that it directly pressures children mind and it
changes their behavior or attitude which is really alarming.

High uses of this platform highly impact in mental fact, some issue shows that many children did
not talk more with their family. It really alarming sign for the young generation. This the
limitation.

Overall recommendation for further improvement of social media in education.

Many higher education institutions still rely on traditional learning management systems, which
do not take advantage of social media's full potential for engaging students in collaborative
learning. To achieve this objective, we really need to find out and work about some points. In
below we are going to discuss some points.

1. Education Social Sites Interface: In YouTube we can find many things or content to
see. For education purpose we go and search what we need to see or find. There are
many categories in YouTube where you can find your video according your choices. But
Many 18+ things or content shows in the home page where a children can easily go and
watch. It creates a bad image and affection creates for see this kind of adult things. Not
only adult things anyone can spend their unnecessary time in this kind of social media
platforms. For stop this thing YouTube can create another sites or app for only
educational purpose so that people can find their thing and with the help of they can
utilize their skills and serve their purpose also it will work for a safe site for kids.
2. Artificial Intelligence Indicator: With the help of Artificial we can detect the young
children and these social media platforms can restricted from the unnecessary content
from the kids. As an example, 8 years old boy need to study he need to search in google
for the topic. Suddenly Some unappropriated ads show up. He finds the sites and get
used in it and he told their friends about it and it totally hamper their mental condition.
This this needs to improve that kids need to have safe internet and clean social media
platforms for their future.
3. Easy getaway for connecting people for collaboration education: Google is the
biggest social platform where all thing can search and many sub function like google
classroom and meet, google+ many things help us to connecting and uses it in
academical purpose. But many teachers are not familiar to use it. Example: A teacher in
rural sites can’t know this much information for having a class and connecting their
students in class. He can hardly use mobile. But for taking classes he needs a computer
to serve the purpose. If google can make this thing easier change the system for
conducting class by using mobile, share his slides, taking attendance in that google meet
format that will be easier to handle and cost efficient more than now version.

This is the issue need to change or improvement of social media in education. That things can
make a big impact and change the whole thing up by one step forward.
