Adjectives and Adverbs

Τα επίθετα προσδιορίζουν ουσιαστικά: a large tree, a pretty girl


Ta επιρρήματα προσδιορίζουν ρήματα (δείχνουν πώς κάνουμε κάτι)
He speaks slowly, they work quickly

Για να σχηματίσουμε τα ομαλά επιρρήματα χρησιμοποιούμε την


κατάληξη –ly στο τέλος του επιθέτου.

Good is an adjective and refers to a noun. She is a good student
Well is usually used as an adverb. She works well
Well can be used as an adjective only when it means ‘to be in good
health’
